Anacortes real estate all looks the same today….covered in white!  We usually don’t get much snow in Anacortes since our temperatures are buffered by Puget Sound.  But a freak snow storm has dumped several inches of snow on the beautiful little town of Anacortes.

Anacortes Chamber of Commerce member Dave Sem, owner of Sebo’s Hardware, provided rock salt free of charge for use on downtown Anacortes crosswalks this morning and Anacortes shops are open for business.  All north/south walks were treated, and Anacortes high school athletes will be back out today to shovel downtown Anacortes sidewalks and crosswalks.  

Many Anacortes homes have a snowman in the front yard and Anacortes schools are closed today.

If you are worried about getting your Christmas shopping completed, you can avoid traffic and do all of your holiday shopping in downtown Anacortes.  Help our local merchants!

Anacortes schools are closed tomorrow as well, and the Anacortes Boat Parade for tomorrow night has been cancelled.  The Coldwell Banker office is open however, so if you would like to look at Anacortes real estate or sell your Anacortes home come on by!
